According to research, approximately one half of drivers who crashed after falling asleep did not detect any signs of drowsiness before crashing.

In the United States, drowsy driving is a serious issue. The risk, danger, and frequently deadly outcomes of driving when fatigued are concerning. Driving while sleepy or fatigued is known as drowsy driving. This typically occurs when a driver has not slept enough, but it can also occur as a result of untreated sleep disorders, drugs, alcohol usage, or shift employment.

Nobody can pinpoint the precise moment when sleep takes over their body. Although it is obviously harmful to fall asleep while driving, being sleepy still has an impact on your ability to drive safely. You become less able to pay attention to the road when you are sleepy. It impedes quick steering or braking responses and impacts your capacity to make wise decisions.

Absolute refractory period

Explanation:

The absolute refractory period is the period that is started from the initiation period of action potential to the immediately after peak point. This is called the Absolute Refractory Period. This is the time between neuron action potential and not lead the second action potential. The absolute refractory period takes around 1 to 2 minutes.

Thus here Gunther is becoming frustrated with television in the hotel room. He has been scanned through channels. This is the example of an absolute refractory period.

Answer:

Mood congruency effect

Explanation:

In psychology, the mood congruency effect refers to the phenomenon in which a person tends to remember information that is consistent with their present mood, this way, they tend to recall memories that are similar to the mood they are experiencing at a certain time. (If you are sad you will recall sad memories).

In this example, Jean was extremely happy and as she was celebrating, she recalled other happy memories in her life, thus since the memories she recalled were similar to the mood she was in (happy), we can conclude that her recalling of other happy memories is an example of the mood congruency effect.
