Compost is made by decayed food and other natural things that humans use. It is often used to help plants grow without using chemicals or polluting the earth. As the human population increases, the amount of resources we use will also increase. However, many of the resources available on the earth are limited. This is why protecting the earth is important. Will the human population learn to live sustainably? Only time will tell.
