Where would you expect both shallow and deep earthquakes in which the deeper earthquakes are located farther inland?
Andreyy89

Answer:

Shallow earthquakes are also common along transform faults, such as the San Andrea Fault. While the heavy earthquakes are found along the inter plate zones.

Explanation:

 • The worldwide distribution of the earthquakes across the globe is relatively shown by the position of the plates and the various boundaries on earth's surface such as the divergent and convergent and transform faults etc. Earthquakes are common in areas of the ridges and the zones of subduction of plates.
 • Due to the build-up of the stress these earthquakes are formed from the continental rifting and like those of the great rift valley o the Africa and lake regions of China and Russia. Some earthquakes are found along the spreading segments of ridges where the temperatures of the rock are relatively high.
 • Earthquakes of Magnitude of 8 or 9 are those found at the great rapture zones and occur at the depth of 400 km, were larger subduction takes place.

What is the midpoint of a segment who's endpoint are (-3,-3)and (-13,-13)
ser-zykov [4K]
Use the midpoint formula. Find the x-values and y-values of the each coordinate pair. You already know what they are. The first coordinate pair is x1 and y1. The second coordinate pair is called x2 and y2. Add the first x-value and the second x-value and divide by 2. Then add the first y-value and second y-value and divide by 2. If my directions are correct then your should find the midpoint! Good luck! I hope this makes senses. And if I'm wrong, blame my past math teachers. You can also look online.
