Find the lengths of two segments whose sum is 45 and whose ratio is 2:3
sasho [114]
Take the lengths as 2x and 3x.
As per the question,
2x + 3x = 45
5x = 45
So, x = 45/5 = 9
To find the length of 1st segment : 2x = 2 * 9 = 18
And the length of the 2nd segment: 3x = 3 * 9 = 27

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

The European Central Bank (ECB) is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It has been responsible for monetary policy in the Euro area since January 1, 1999, when the euro currency was first adopted by some EU members. The ECB Governing Council is the body within the ECB that actually takes decisions on euro zone monetary policy. The Council consists of six executive board members and the governor (or equivalent) of each member's national central bank. As membership of the Euro area has expanded, so has the number of governors in the Governing Council.

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!!! WILL BE MODERATING RESPONSES, SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!! Stages of a Trial, if you know your Criminal Just
Naddik [55]

Hello there!

The Criminal Justice System

The Criminal Justice System is one of the most important tools available to society for the control of anti-social behavior. The criminal justice system needs to prove a balance between punishing the guilty and protecting the innocent being found guilty; however it is not as easy to convict those who are guilty of committing crimes. There have been many miscarriages to justice where innocent people were sent to prison. Many people have been affected by crime, this is due to statistics, which show the various number of crimes committed in particular areas.

Hope this helped!
