The Aryans were a group of people who originated in ancient Iran, as well as the northern areas of the Indian subcontinent. These people are believed to have existed during prehistoric times, and they most likely spoke an archaic Indo-European language.

However, in the 20th century, the concept of Aryan was also used to describe a light-skinned group of people who are believed to have conquered India from the North. Theorists of the "Aryan race" believed them to have brought important advancements to Indian culture. However, this theory is no longer supported by modern theorists.

How did nationalism impact Napoleon’s conquest of Europe?
nadya68 [22]
Many Europeans saw Napoleon and his armies as foreign oppressors and fought back to save their countries.

Nationalism was important to Napoleon. He needed to keep his citizens loyal to France so that he could stay in power and spread his country's influence throughout Europe. Napoleon's aggression, however, increased the nationalistic impulses in his enemies and those he conquered.
