Answer:

The correct answer will be option- C.

Explanation:

Mitochondria are the double membrane-bound organelles present in the cell which provides a site for the formation of energy molecules in the cell that is ATP. This is the reason they are also known as the "powerhouse of the cell. "

The mitochondria from the energy molecules due to the cellular respiration process undergoing in the mitochondria. The cellular respiration helps in the formation of the ATP molecules.

If the cell has an abundance of the mitochondria then the cell will produce more energy molecules from the glycolysis and another interlinked process of the respiration.

Thus, option- C is the correct answer.

Consider the following chemical equation:
denis-greek [22]

4NH3 + 5O2 → 4NO + 6H2O is the correct balanced equation in the given chemical equation options.

What do you mean by Chemical equations?

A chemical equation is a written representation of the chemical reaction taking place between two or more substances. It can be written in words or symbols, and typically consists of the reactants (on the left side) and the products (on the right side). The arrow between them indicates the direction of the reaction.

The above equation is balanced because it has the same number of atoms of each element on both sides of the equation. The equation is balanced because it has 4 atoms of nitrogen (N) on the left side and 4 atoms of nitrogen on the right side. It has 5 atoms of oxygen (O) on the left side and 6 atoms of oxygen on the right side. It also has 3 atoms of hydrogen (H) on the left side and 12 atoms of hydrogen on the right side.

State two biological reasons why you consider that the loss of biodiversity matters.
Marat540 [252]
Loss of biodiversity matters because it affects the overall sustainability of organisms in an ecosystem. It also affects how badly an ecosystem will be affected after something, maybe a natural disaster, or maybe a disease, strikes the region. (For example, if a disease affects a certain species of organism, if there was a lot of biodiversity among individuals, some will have some kind of natural immunity to that disease and survive, passing on their favorable traits to the next generation. However, if everybody was the same and did not have the immunity to that disease, that entire population would eventually die out.) <- This is also the reason that lack of biodiversity will inhibit natural selection.
Hope that helped you.
