Answer:

$ 179.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The charges per hour = $ 50.00

Suppose x be the additional mileage fee ( in dollars ) for each miles,

So, the total fees for 1 hour and 25 miles = 50 + 25x

According to the question,

50 + 25x = 140

25x = 90

⇒ x = \frac{90}{25} = $ 3.6

Thus, the additional mileage fees is $ 3.6 per hour,

Hence, the total amount charged for one hour plus 36 miles traveled = 3.6(36) + 50 = $ 179.6

Which statement is not a step used when constructing an inscribed square?
sammy [17]

Swing an arc the length of the radius from the point on the circle

Step-by-step explanation:

When constructing a square inscribed in a circle, you first draw the circle.This is followed by drawing the diameter of the circle.Using a pair of compass, construct a segment bisector of the diameter, and draw the perpendicular bisector to cut the circle at two points .Join the points cut by the diameter and the bisector on the circle to form the inscribed square.

Swinging an arc the length of the radius from the point on the circle will not mark the correct length of the square.The correct length of the square is marked by the points cut by the diameter and the bisector on the circle.
