In this question, we are asked to choose an occupation and describe how technology has impacted that job. An example of this would be people who are hotel owners or hotel managers. In the past, people would hear about a hotel, call it, and make reservations. It was very difficult to compare large numbers of hotels. However, nowadays, there are many apps and programs that allow you to look for the best deals in hotels. This allows any person to quickly and easily compare thousands of options, making hotels compete in a much more intense way. Moreover, hotels have also had to compete with companies such as Couchsurfing and Airbnb which offer alternative types of accomodation.
