Two reasons to bring back passenger pigeons

English

The Great Passenger Pigeon Comeback began in 2012 with a central paradigm: de-extinction needed a model candidate. The goal of de-extinction for us, quite literally is revive and restore, and so the pilot project needed to be one that would have a chance of successfully returning the species to the wild.

We hypothesized the Passenger Pigeon could be a model de-extinction project. The Passenger Pigeon is certainly an iconic candidate. Conservation has often rallied behind iconic birds to galvanize environmental revolutions. The conservation movement itself formed in response to the extinction of the Passenger Pigeon. When the last birds were shot in the wild, mere decades after their population numbered in the billions, their absence from the skies demonstrated that even the most abundant of natural resources could be exhausted by unchecked human consumption, beginning a new age of conservation regulation and game management

Answer:

Lizabeth’s change begins to occur after the children behead the marigolds. She charges at Miss Lottie, chanting a song, but later regrets her actions. She feels the duality of the situation: the child enjoyed mocking, but the woman was ashamed of herself. Lizabeth later hears her father crying because he cannot provide for his family. She covers her ears because she does not want to face her father’s humanity. She has always seen him as strong and fun, and his vulnerability prompts her to take out her anger on Miss Lottie’s flowers.

After destroying the garden and seeing Miss Lottie’s broken spirit, Lizabeth realizes that she has done much more damage than to the marigolds. She understands why the flowers were so important to Miss Lottie, who had nothing else in her life except heartache and poverty. Although Lizabeth feels great remorse, she can never express it enough to undo what she has done. “I stood there awkward and ashamed,” she says. No longer a child, Lizabeth

According to both whitman and dickinson what is the character of nature
romanna [79]

I think they saw nature in a spiritual way as the collective "Over-soul" of all the souls that create and reside in every form in creation. That means that very soul is one with and is the Over-soul, which some call God, but Dickinson and Whitman may have thought that word had to much connections to organized religion which has a different definition than they had.

Why are punctuation marks important and why do you have to put them when writing something?
Sliva [168]
Punctuation marks are important for recognizing the end of a statement and or drawing some out with an ellipsis. If you do not put them at the end of your writing/sentence, unless using a question mark(?) or exclamation point(!), then the reader/grader will not be able to know where your sentence ends and the new one begins, therefor rendering it a run on sentence.
