1.) Competition: Competition is a kind of interaction which harms both of the organisms involved. It is caused when organisms of different species share the same resource in an ecosystem. Competition between species of two populations will cause BOTH POPULATIONS TO BE AFFECTED.

2.) Predation: Predation is another kind of interaction in which one organism called the PREDATOR feeds on another organism called PREY. The populations of one species will PREY on the population of the other species, hence, one population will be affected.

3) Mutualism is the interaction between organisms in which both species benefit from one another. Hence, the population of the two species are affected POSITIVELY by this interaction.
