Is the answer a, b, c, or d.
skelet666 [1.2K]
The correct answer is D.

-2 \leq y\ \textless \ 3

The graph shows the set of values that y takes, so you can see that the thick black line goes from -2 to 3 and the black point at -2 represents a closed interval at this point and the empty point at 3 represents an open interval at that point.

Could someone help me answer this? <br> Solve -2log8(x + 1) = -8.<br> Thanks so much!
drek231 [11]
Step one, divide both sides by -2
log8(x+1)=4

if the base is 10, and the 8 is together with (x+1): (cannot tell from the way it is written)
8(x+1)=10^4=10000
x+1=1250
x=1249

if the 8 is a base,
8^4=(x+1)
x+1=4096
x=4095

What are the zeros of this function? <br>look at graph<br>a.<br>b.<br>c.<br>d.
fredd [130]
The zeros of the function occur when the graph meet the x-axis so in this case the zeros occur at B ( 0 and 5)

Identify which of the twelve basic functions listed below fit the description given
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

b.\:\: y=\sin(x),y=\cos(x)

Step-by-step explanation:

The range of the sine and cosine functions is -1\le x\le1.

This means that the maximum value the basic sine and cone functions is 1 and the minimum value is -1.

This means that the two functions are bounded above and below.

The correct answer is B.
