Reforestation projects are driven by non profit groups and government mandates.It is the process of planting trees in an area.Reforestation projects were started after seeing the need of green trees for various types of activities.Due to human interventions into the forests for fulfillment of needs the number of trees being cutting down is mire as compared to the trees being planted.There are many projects driven by some non-profit  organizations and government are WE FOREST ,FORESTEVER ,etc.In India <em>Araku</em> project is driven by government which is planting millions of fruit trees and coffee bushes.
