The cultural elements that these city-states shared were:

The Maya had independent city-states with cultural ties such as traditions, language, religion, clothing, rites, art, trade, writing, cosmogony, mathematics, science, and architecture.

The Maya lived in Southern Mexico and parts of Central America, where today we find the mexican states of Yucatan, Chiapas, Tabasco, and countries like Belize and Guatemala. The Maya had great cities such as Chichen Itza, Palenque, Tikal or Uxmal, that nowadays still astonish anthropologist for its impressive architecture, traditions, religious buildings, astronomy, and hieroglyphics.

How did feudalism work easy.
pantera1 [17]
Feudalism worked easy because it was a system that worked from top to bottom. At the top you had the King which provided money for the Nobility that provided troops and protection for the king. Then the Nobility would bestow the land to his knights that would give the land to the peasants and they owned the land and farmer on it. The knights would provide military service for food that they farmed.
