Answer:

prokayotes are comparatively smaller in size than most of the eukaryotes. whereas, mitochondrion may be similar or greater in size than most of prokaryotes .but mitochondria are smaller than nucleus

Explanation:

Prokaryotes are the most primitive types of organisms that include the category of bacteria and Archea. They lack membrane bounded organelles and most of the features that eukaryotes hold.maybe, for such a reason they are typically smaller in size than eukaryotes that have diameter ranging between 10 to 100 micro meter. while on the other hand prokaryotes are comparatively smaller in size having diameter between o.1 and o.5 micrometer.IN SHORT, EUKARYOTIC CELLS ARE 10 T 100 TIMES THE SIZE OF PROKARYOTIC CELLS.hence prokaryotic cells are really very small.

Mitochondria is the organelle of EUKARYOTIC CELLS. As far as a mitochondrion is concerned, they are mostly similar in size and features to most of the prokaryotic cells mitochondria have size ranging from 0.5 to almost 10 micro meters thus tending to be similar or even greater in size than most of the prokaryotes .however they have similar features to prokaryotes as they have cristae just like mesosomes of prokaryotes .

mitochondria is known as powehouse of cell and is smaller than the cell's nucleus. it has membranes similar to other cell membranes. nucleus is the core of animal cell but in plants it is may be towards periphery because of large central vacuole.nucleus may be the largest organelle and is greater than mitochondria.

what is viscosity and what effect does heat have on the viscosity of DNA? What is the underlying cause of the change?
tino4ka555 [31]

Answer:

Please find the definition of viscosity, effect of heat on DNA explanation to this question below

Explanation:

Viscosity is a term used to describe FLUIDS, which includes liquids and gases. Viscosity refers to the ability of a gas or liquid to resist flow. In other words, it is the measure of the internal friction that exists between the molecules of a fluid, which resists its flow.

DNA in its natural state exists in a liquid solution, hence, when HEAT is applied, the heat causes ITS MOLECULES to MOVE RELATIVELY FAST and as a result the molecules lose the friction between them and begin to flow. Based on this, heat is said to make DNA LESS VISCOUS i.e. to flow more rapidly.

How do you think the human body uses cohesion? give an example
Inessa [10]

Question

How do you think the human body uses cohesion?

Answer

cohesion is a water property which affects the living and noon-living things in the environment. Adhesive property of water allows water to stick to non-water molecules

A water drop is composed of water molecules that like to stick together-an example of the property of cohesion.
