Mathematics

The domain are the x values.

The problem is saying the x value is all numbers between 4 and 8

Replace x in the equation with 4 and 8 and solve to find the range for the y values:

y =4(4) -1 = 16-1 = 15

y = 4(8) - 1 = 32-1 = 31

So Y would be between 15 and 31.

The first answer is the correct one.

A juice company produces 8,064 cartons of juice in 21 days. Each day, they produced the same number of cartons and delivered tho
KatRina [158]
8064 cartons in 21 days......8064/21 = 384 cartons per day

the cartons were delivered in cases of 6.....384 / 6 = 64 cases

each of 16 coffee shops received an equal number of cases..
64/16 = 4.....so each coffee shop received 4 cases per day <==

You're looking for the volume of the prism. The dead giveaway there is that you're looking for "cubic" measurement. Cubic measures are indicators that the volume is being determined, just like "square feet" or inches, etc indicates area is being determined. The volume for this prism is found by multiplying the length times the width times the height. In decimal form, 45×30×40=54,000. But that is in cubic inches and we want cubic feet. So we will use dimensional analysis to convert that. Setting up the DA looks like this, keeping in mind that there are 12 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot: 54,000in^3* \frac{1ft*1ft*1ft}{12in*12in*12in}. The label of cubic inches cancels out leaving us with cubic feet, and doing the division there gives us 54,000/(12*12*12) which is 31.25 cubic feet.

Write a number in each blank to complete each equation so that it has the requested number of solutions. a. Equation with no sol
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

The answer is 8x - 3x + 2 -x = 4 x + 2 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

8x - 3x + 2 -x = __ x + __

Now, to write a number in each blank to complete each equation so that it has the requested number of solutions.

So, to solve the equation:

8x-3x+2-x

So, we add the variables:

5x+2-x

And, then subtract it:

4x-2.

Thus, it remains:

4x-2.

So the complete equation is:

8x - 3x + 2 -x = 4 x + 2

Therefore, the answer is 8x - 3x + 2 -x = 4 x + 2 .
