Academic integrity is defined as an act of honesty and responsibility in scholarship.
Students and faculty must obey rules of honest scholarship meaning, that all academic work should result from an individual's own efforts.
One way to demonstrate academic integrity is to avoid plagiarism. Plagiarism is using other people's ideas or copying their words without clearly acknowledging the source of that information. In short, plagiarism is putting forward ideas and words of other people and conveying that it is your work.
For example:
In doing research papers, we cite instances and events that are relevant in the progress of our research papers. These instance and events may not personally come from you, if so, you must also include in the research paper the sources where you found these instances and events.

The play Romeo and Juliet is all about how the family grudge drives the young lovers to desperation and they take their lives. The prologue specifically introduces this theme in the first 14 lines of the play. The audience is continually reminded of this throughout the play. Finally after the teenagers have died, the families realize all the destruction their hatred has wrought. The Prince outlines this in his lines pointing out that the hate the families have for each other is what ultimately lead to Romeo and Juliet's deaths.
The irony is both of them sold their most prized possessions to get the other a special christmas present, however both of their presents are designed for the prized possession each one sold.
This is critic as both characters realised that the other person would give up their prized possession for them to be happy. This is a key message sent by the author through this book. They are wise as they know that people should be more valued over possessions.
