Iran and Syria are completely different from one another in terms of Freedom of Religion. Iran is a country with a state religion of Shia Islam which is not only against Non-Muslims but also against Sunni Muslims.
Syria on the other hand is a secular country with no state religion and complete freedom to practice religion.
Syria is more similar to the United States in providing more freedome of religion, while Iran does not provide freedom to people of Sunni Islam or Bahai' faith.
The Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro invaded the Incan Empire in 1532, seeking riches. The Inca had already had some contact with Europeans, and many had died of European diseases. The empire was also weakened by a civil war between two ruling brothers. Pizarro manipulated the two sides, eventually defeating both.
World War I started in the middle of 1914 because of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The war went on for 5 more years, until the Treaty of Versailles was created and commanded the armies to seize fire. World War I officially ended on June 28, 1919.
During the Great Depression, the United States demanded repayment of loans it made to European nations for World War I, which was almost impossible since this revenue was supposed to come from war-torn Germany.
