Malthus was a student, that developed a model known as the population exponential growth.

I think that applies to evolution in the following way:

Populations can only grow and be successful if they are perfectly suited to their environment.

For example, frogs wouldn't be able to live in earth if they hadn't developed certain characteristics. And, if they could only live in water, they're population would indeed be smaller, and probably decrease since being able to be on land is also a method of running away from predators and catching prey.

Hope it helped,

Do autotrophs need to carry out cellular respiration? Why or why not?
AfilCa [17]
While photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, cellular respirationrequires oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. It is the released oxygen that is used by us and most other organisms for cellular respiration. We breathe in that oxygen, which is carried through our blood to all our cells.

Use the numbers to put the steps of translation in order, from first (1) to last (5). The large ribosomal subunit completes the
pashok25 [27]
Translation is a complex process that translated the genetic information from the language of DNA in the language of RNA. The first step in this process is the binding of the initiator tRNA (that is bound to the aminoacid methionine) to the small ribosomal unit. Then, the small ribosomal unit joins the mRNA; it is the part of the ribosome mainly responsible for translating. After that, the initiator tRNA binds to the start codon. This reaction frees some initiation factors that make large ribosomal units bind to the small one. Hence, the large ribosomal subunit completes the initiation complex afterwards. The role of the large ribosomal unit is mainly to make the peptidic bonds between the aminoacids in the new protein. After that, amino acids are paired with anticodons, gradually forming a long chain; this chain is called a polypeptide and is the skeleton of the protein that is created. Finally, this process stops when one of the three possible stop codons are reached.
