Answer:

slab push, volcanic eruptions, and subduction

Explanation:

To understand better, let's consider an example. Make small pieces of paper and put them in a bowl containing water. Then heat the bowl. After sometime, you will see that the pieces are moving. This is because of same phenomenon (convection currents) forming inside the bowl of water. The water will warm move upward whereas colder water will come to its place. Convection currents in Earth are formed due to high temperature of magma (molten rock material) that rises up and colder magma takes its position.

This process results in slab push, volcanic eruptions, and subduction.

Slab pull: Slab pull is the force exerted by plates during subduction. Subduction is a process when a denser plate moves beneath the less denser plate. Thus slab pull is also caused by convenction currents.

Volcanic eruption: During subduction, denser plate moves beneath the less denser plate until it reaches magma. There, the lithosphere destroyes. On a weaker lithosphere zone, the magma moves upward and break the crust thus leading to volcanic eruptions.

Subduction: As mentioned above, during subduction, denser plate moves beneath the less denser plate which is driven by convectin currents.

lisov135 [29]

Answer:

One significant difference that I noticed was the color of the water. In the control aquarium, the color of the water at 30 days was the same as it was on the 1st day. In the experimental aquarium, the water had a green tint on the 30th day, but on the first day it was clear.

Winding mills are made on hills. Why?
Leni [432]

Answer:

Winding mills are made on hills because of air flow and currents.

Explanation:

Winding mills capture wind to turn blades and produce energy. In order to do so, it needs winds! Strong winds, in order to turn the blades. You will notice that if you ever scale a mountain or go higher, it starts to become windier/the wind blows harder.

If the wind mills are placed higher, it can capture these windier conditions, thus moving the wind blades to produce energy. The higher the hill, the stronger the wind current, the more energy it produces.

Who is studying animals in the wild considered to be somewhat experimentally out of control
KIM [24]

Studying animals in the wild is considered somewhat experimentally out of control because of several reasons.

Explanation:

Study of wild animals can be done using several methods but none will be as effective as studying captivated animals. Using stationary cameras is a method to observe animals in the wild. The stationary nature of the camera makes it necessary for the animals to appear within the field of the camera.

This is difficult in places of low animal density. In addition to that placing camera at a longer distance to watch a larger area decreases the resolution of the images. When it comes to shallow water systems, the field imagery used to track the aquatic species frequently gets affected by issues like sun flicker.

Unmanned aerial vehicles can also be used to track and study animals in the wild. This is good alternative but filming through dense canopies or turbid water is a limitation. Bio loggers can also be used for animal tracking but it is limited by weight since it has to be carried by animals.
