How do different writers incorporate them into their works
swat32
Incorporate what? if you mean their selfs then i would say by giving a spice of them self or make their story have some character that relates to them, but then again the story itself is them already.

In his opening paragraph, King says that he rarely pauses to answer criticisms, but he is replying to "A Call For Unity" because
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

d . he believes them to be sincere and good.

Explanation:

“A call for Unity” was written by eight white pastors who gave their opinions on Martin Luther King Jr. and his actions. They wrote that they essentially agreed with King’s causes, but not with the method of “extreme measurements”. They called King out as an “outsider” because he protested instead of taking the problem to the court.

<u>King recognized their well-meaning attitude and the ways they agree with the ideas.</u> This is why he said, at the end of the "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" he will take time to reply to them. <u>He writes about how he feels their genuine goodwill and capability for understanding.</u> <u>Although he mentioned he does not have time for answering criticism usually, this recognition of the sincerity and good means made him change his principle.</u>

Read the excerpt from "The City of Invention" and answer the question.
ahrayia [7]

<em>Context helps readers guess that "inchoation" in this passage describes experiences that are </em><u>preliminary </u><em>and </em><u>universal</u><em>.</em>

In the excerpt, the narrator tries to capture the experience that a reader has when he or she encounters with a fascinating and shivering passage. The <em>inchoation,</em> or beginning, (<em>Merriam Webster</em>),  represent the start of an enthralling feeling that is <u>preliminary</u>, as it prepares the reader for richer and more important experiences, and could encompass something that is inherent in human life, i.e. <u>universal</u>. A sudden thrill that pulls the strings of the soul and deeply connects with the reader. These experiences are unexpected, and they are the beginning of something much bigger and enriching that may change the reader forever.

which sentence from "a modest proposal" is the best example of satire? a) some persons of a desponding spirit are in great conce
Mashutka [201]

Answer: b) thus the squire will learn to be a good landlord, and grow popular among his tenants, the mother will have eight shillings neat profit, and be fit for work till she produces another child.

This is an example of satire. Satire is a type of humor that uses exaggeration and ridicule in order to mock the vices and follies of an individual, a group of people or society at large. Satire often has the intention of shaming individuals into changing their behaviour. In this case, the author uses satire to argue that a family would benefit and be much happier if they sell their child so that he can be eaten by the rich.
