Parallelism is a literary device that is used to construct part of a sentence grammatically similar. In this, either words, phrases or the whole sentence can be used repetitively. This device helps most in the persuasive speeches to create an effect such as in the speech "I Have a Dream" by Martin Luther King Jr.
In the given case, it is an error in the parallelism, or also known as faulty parallelism. A faulty parallelism turns a sentence into a bulky, unbalanced and lengthy sentence. It is a faulty parallelism because there is not repetitive grammatical structure.
