Answer: During hot weather or vigorous exercise people sweat. This is done to maintain the internal temperature of the body.

The phenomenon of maintaining the internal temperature of the body is necessary to keep the metabolism of the body all right. This is known as Homeostasis.

When the temperature inside the body increases beyond normal then sweating starts and heat is released out of the body in the form of sweat.

Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

Ventilation may increase to compensate for the reduction in gas exchange.

Explanation:

The conducting zone is part of the respiratory system. It includes the organs and structures not directly involved in gas exchange.

It serves as a route for incoming and outgoing air and filtering debris and pathogens from the incoming air.

Blocking the structures of the conducting zone would prevent delivery of air to and from the lungs impairing gas exchange.

In order to compensate for the reduction in gas exchange in the respiratory system, ventilation will increase
