The length of the rectangle in #7 is 18 ft
I cannot see which region is shaded so I will solve for both:
1.
the radius of one circle is 3:
A=\pir^{2}
A=(3.14)(9)
A=(28.26)
The area of the three circles is 84.78 feet squared

Area of rectangle is 108 feet squared (16*8)

108-84.78=23.22

The area of the shape around the circles is 23.22 feet squared

2:
The area of 1 circle is 28.26
The area of 3 circles is 84.78 feet squared
The area of the circles in the rectangle is 84.78 feet squared.

Find the angle between the given vectors to the nearest tenth of a degree. u = <8, 4>, v = <9, -9> (5 points)
alexdok [17]
There are a number of ways to do this. One way is to use a graphics program to measure it.

The angle is 71.6°.

Another way is to divide the vectors and look at the angle of the result.
  (8 +4i)/(9 -9i) = (8 +4i)(9 +9i)/162
  = 36 +108i
So the angle is
  arctan(108/36) ≈ 71.565° ≈ 71.6°

Help pls !!!! Math is fun
kumpel [21]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio fo the lengths of the sides of a 30-60-90 triangle is

short leg  :  long leg  : hypotenuse

      1        :    sqrt(3)    :         2

In a 30-60-90 triangle, the length of the short leg is the length of the long leg divided by sqrt(3).

The length of the short leg is 8 cm.

The length of the hypotenuse is twice the length of the short leg.

g = 2 * 8 cm = 16 cm

Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

y = x - 8

Step-by-step explanation:

There's no magic method to doing these, and problem 21 makes it harder to see a pattern by using inputs that are not consecutive integers (like problem 20 does)!

Looking at inputs 20 and 21, the outputs are 8 less than the inputs.  Check the other inputs and notice that the same pattern holds up.

Answer:

140·80=11200

Step-by-step explanation:

From exercise we have example for how we find  half the sum of 246 and 388, we can enter "(246+388)/2".

Based on this example, we will calculate what is required in the task using a calculator. So we use a calculator to find the product of the following numbers, 140 and 80.

We calculate, and we get

140·80=11200
