Hello!

First, let's take a look at the two angles together. We can see that the two angles, when the measures are combined, add up to form a line, DEF. We can therefore see that the two angles DEG and GEF must add up to 180 degrees, as the measure of a line is 180 degrees.

Therefore, we can create our equation.

(7x - 3) + (12x - 7) = 180

Now, solve for x.

7x - 3 + 12x - 7 = 180

19x = 190

x = 10

Finally, substitute x into the angle measures to find the integer measurements.

Angle DEG: 7x - 3

7 * 10 - 3

70 - 3

67 degrees

Angle GEF: 12x - 7

12 * 10 - 7

120 - 7

113 degrees

Just to be sure, add up the angle measurements to make sure they equal 180. 67 + 113 = 180, which means we did our math correctly.

Hope this helps!

amm1812

Answer: She has to score a minimum of 92 marks to take her average to 80

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the equation be

Three months total = 76 x 3 = 228

(x + 228) / 4 = 80

x + 228 = 80 x 4

x = 320 - 228

x = 92

Can u help me pls they are exponents with multiplication and division
Ronch [10]
When there is a multiplication involving exponents, we need to evaluate the numbers and each variables separately. In this case, we have 5 and 4 as the numbers, and w and h for the variables.

When we multiply 5 and 4 we get:
5 \times 4 = 20

For w, we have {w}^{6}, {w}^{4}, w. While we are multiplying the w's, we need to add the exponents together to get the final answer: {w}^{6} \times {w}^{4} \times w = {w}^{11}

For h's, there are {h}^{2}, {h}^{5}, {h}^{4}. When we apply the same thing to h's, we get {h}^{2} \times {h}^{5} \times {h}^{4} = {h}^{11}

For the final step, we need to write all of these together: 20 \times {w}^{11} \times {h}^{11} \: \: or \: \: 20 {w}^{11} {h}^{11} \: \: or \: \: 20 {(wh)}^{11}

Can anyone help me on this please.
liubo4ka [24]
Since you know x is between 4 and 5, lets start in the middle using 4.5 for x

4.5^3 - 5(4.5) =  68.625 ( this is larger than 59, so we know the number is less than 4.5)

lets try 4.2:   4.2^3 -5(4.2) = 53.088 ( this is smaller than 59, so we know the number is larger than 4.2)

4.3:  4.3^3 -5(4.3) = 58.007

4.4:  4.4^4 -5(4.4) = 63.184
 so we know the answer is between 4.3 and 4.4

4.32: 4.32^3 - 5(4.32) = 59.02 round to 59.0 ( to 1 decimal place)

 I think this is what the teacher wants for an answer.
