For this case we have that by definition, the sum of the internal angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

Then, according to the figure djunta we have:

(3x-16) + (x + 6) + x = 180

Grouping similar terms:

3x + x + x-16 + 6 = 180

We clear the value of x:

5x-10 = 180\\5x = 180 + 10\\5x = 190\\x = \frac {190} {5}\\x = 38

Then the angle M is given by:

(3x-16)

Substituting the value of x we have:

(3 * 38) -16 = 98

Thus, the angle M is 98 degrees.

Answer:

98 degrees

So in a triangle ; angle sum is 180°

so 3x-16 + x+6 + x =180
5x -10 =180
x= 190/5
x= 38

so M angle is 3x-16 = 3×38 -16 =114-16 = 98°

your answer is 98°

Mark and Sofia walk together down a long, straight road. They walk without stopping for 4 miles. At this point Sofia says their
victus00 [196]

Answer:

b

Step-by-step explanation:

Displacement and distance have different meanings. Displacement is a vector quantity and is the objects overall change in position. Distance is scalar quantity which describes how much ground an object covers during motion.

If they have covered 4 miles from a origin and we don't know the origin but we know that they start there and continue for 4 miles. It will be displacement if they started at a distance and walked a certain distance and the difference from start to finish is 4 miles. Therefore, it must be distance because we don't know the initial position and only that they walked 4 miles.

Mark is right if their starting point is a origin of a coordinate system
