Answer:

C. An inventor creates a new technology that revolutionizes an important industry

Explanation:

The letter C shows a turning point between two historical periods. That's because when a new technology that revolutionizes an important industry is created, it creates a turning point between a period with less technology and a period with more technology. This new technology begins a new historical period.

Compare and contrast middle ages and renaissance
Westkost [7]
The Middle Ages and Renaissance periods shared many similarities and many differences. The Middle Ages were considered dark and barbaric, while the Renaissance (meaning rebirth) was a vibrant and prosperous period. Both had social classes, but during the Renaissance these classes were more relaxed and less rigid. Literature and arts were very important during both time periods. Society became more educated during the Renaissance and citizens enjoyed a wider variety of writings. In the Middle Ages, typically only clergy and the upper classes could read. Religion was important during both periods. However, during the Middle Ages religion was never questioned and the Roman Catholic Church reigned supreme. The Renaissance would see the Church viewed with skepticism and doubt.

Its the 5th amendment!

Explanation:

The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights and protects a person against being compelled to be a witness against himself or herself in a criminal case.

Pleading the Fifth is a colloquial term for invoking the privilege that allows a witness to decline to answer questions that might incriminate him or her, without penalty or it counting against him or her.
