The half life is the measure of the time during which half of the atoms of an element are broken down. e.g; if an element has half life of one day. it means that 1 day is the time for the half of the atoms of that element to decay. this term can also be use in biology relating medications. the half life of drugs is the time taken by the drugs to be eliminate from the body.
