In the book “The Republic,” Plato compares the act of ascending up out of the cave as the soul rising-up to the intellectual world.

The “Allegory of the Caves” is one of the famous passages of the book which gives an insight to the views of Plato about education and society. He says that the society is like a ‘cave’ in which the people live like a prisoner following the shadows. The caves also mean the boundaries which we ourselves make within ourselves. He suggests that it is through the correct way of education that one can rise and become an intellectual.

Next term, I will write a lot. I need at least six notebooks. To draw to write I need 30 pencils. I will also need a back pack to carry my supplies in. To carry work and home work and solve, I need a binder, a calculator, and a ruler.

I hope to see you again!,
