Answer:

\huge\boxed{x

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply -1 both sides.

\displaystyle (-13x)(-1)

Solve.

\displaystyle 13x

Divide by 13 both sides.

\displaystyle\frac{13x}{13}

Simplify, to find the answer.

\displaystyle 39\div13=3

\displaystyle x, which is our answer.

Martene got a small aquarium for her birthday. The aquarium is a right rectangular prism 18.5\,\text{cm}18.5cm18, point, 5, spac
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

14 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that an aquarium is a right rectangular prism 18.5 cm long and 15 cm wide. We are also told that Martene put 3885 cubic cm of water in the aquarium.

To find the depth or height of aquarium, we will use volume of rectangular prism formula.

\text{Volume of rectangular prism}=l*w*h, where,

l = Length of prism,

w = Width of prism,

h = Height of prism.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula we will get,

3885\text{ cm}^3=18.5\text{ cm}\times 15\text{ cm}\times h

3885\text{ cm}^3=277.5\text{ cm}^2\times h

\frac{3885\text{ cm}^3}{277.5\text{ cm}^2}=\frac{277.5\text{ cm}^2\times h}{277.5\text{ cm}^2}

14\text{ cm}=h

Therefore, the aquarium is 14 cm deep.

1. What is an equation for the line with slope 2/3 and y-intercept 9?
Monica [59]
Question 1:

 The generic equation of the line is given by:
 y = mx + b&#10;
 Where,
 m: slope of the line
 b: cutting point with the y axis
 Substituting values we have:
 y = \frac{2}3}x + 9&#10;
 Answer:
 an equation for the line with slope 2/3 and y-intercept is:
 y = \frac{2}3}x + 9

 Question 2:

 The standard equation of the line is given by:
 y-yo = m (x-xo)&#10;
 Where,
 m: slope of the line
 (xo, yo): ordered pair that belongs to the line
 The slope of the line is:
 m =  \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}
 Substituting values:
 m = \frac{1-(-3)}{3-1}
 m = \frac{1+3}{3-1}
 m = \frac{4}{2}
 m = 2&#10;
 We choose an ordered pair:
 (xo, yo) = (3, 1)&#10;
 Substituting values:
 y-1 = 2 (x-3)&#10;
 Rewriting:
 y = 2x - 6 + 1&#10;&#10;y = 2x - 5
 Answer:
 An equation in slope-intercept form for the line that passes through the points (1, -3) and (3,1) is:
 y = 2x - 5&#10;

 Question 3:

 For this case, since the variation is direct, then we have an equation of the form:
 y = kx&#10; Where,
 k: constant of variation.
 We then have the following equation:
 -4y = 8x&#10; Rewriting we have:
 y = \frac{8}{-4}x&#10;
 y = -2x&#10; Therefore, the constate of variation is given by:
 k = -2&#10;
 Answer:
 the constant of variation is:
 k = -2

 Question 4:

 For this case, since the variation is direct, then we have an equation of the form:
 y = kx&#10; Where,
 k: constant of variation.
 We must find the constant k, for this we use the following data:
 y = 24 when x = 8
 Substituting values:
 24 = k8&#10; Clearing k we have:
 k =  \frac{24}{8} &#10;
 k = 3&#10;
 Therefore, the equation is:
 y = 3x&#10; Thus, substituting x = 10 we have that the value of y is given by:
 y = 3 (10)&#10;&#10;y = 30 Answer:
 the value of y when x = 10 is:
 y = 30

What set of Transformations are applied to parallelogram ABCD to create A'B'C'D'?
bearhunter [10]

Answer:  a) reflected over x-axis and reflected over y-axis

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Reflection over the x-axis changes the sign of the y-coordinate

Z = (x, y)   →   Z'(x, -y)

Reflection over the y-axis changes the sign of the x-coordinate

Z' = (x, -y)   →   Z''(-x, -y)

A = (-4, 1)     →     A'' = (4, -1)

B = (-3, 2)    →     A'' = (3, -2)

C = (-1, 2)     →     A'' = (1, -2)

D = (-2, 1)     →     A'' = (2, -1)

Asap please help! and explain how you got the answer!
Inessa [10]
55

To start to solve this problem we start by observing what information there is. We need y, to find y we have to know x. We need x to find y because all the angles in a triangle add up to 180. If we find x we can subtract the angles we know and get y. To find x we look and see that it is on a straight line, and on the other side of the line is 100. We know that a straight line is 180 degrees so we subtract 100 from 180 to get x. We now know x is 80, so now we minus 89 and 45 from 180. We get 55. This means that y is 55.

Hope this helps! Please make me the brainliest, it’s not necessary but appreciated, I put a lot of effort and research into my answers. Have a good day, stay safe and stay healthy.
