Declaration of Independence : - Freedom from Great Britain. We had already taken up arms and war had pretty much already started. George Washington, John Adams, etc decide to make out a special declaration of independence among them and make it official. They feel compelled to tell the other people that they want their own dependence. The whole declaration is simply beautiful treason. And men putting their name on it meant they were involved on it and they could get arrested. Thomas Jefferson is blaming everything on King George when he talks about him. It is really being used as a way to convince people using propaganda.

Iroquois Constitution : came from 5 Indian nations who decided to work together. It is the world's oldest living constitution. Puts forth the idea that their is strength in numbers. Alone you can do nothing, but together you can achieve great things. We need to create a bond and work together.

Abigail Adams letter : Abigail Adams writes a letter to her husband, Jon Adams. She tells him that she knows he's a busy man but not to forget about the women in this independence movement. See them with moral consciousness. Women had very few legal rights.

Declaration of Sentiments : written by Elizabeth C Stanton and Suzanne B Anthony and is basically a bootleg version of the Declaration of Independence. It has the same ideas, a lot of the same statements and holds a lot of the same beliefs.

Each letter has their own, genuine idea of constitutional rights and they instill them through their work.
