B. Secondary Analysis

Secondary analysis involves the use of existing data, collected for a prior study, in order to pursue a research interest which is distinct from that of the original work. This may be a new research question or an alternative perspective on the original question.

Sources include :
- information collected through censuses or government departments like housing, social security, electoral statistics, tax records
- internet searches or libraries
- GPS, remote sensing
- km progress reports

Correlation research measures a relationship between two variables without the researcher controlling either of them (positive correlation, negative correlation, or zero correlation). The most common data collection methods for this type of research include surveys, observations and secondary data.

Cross-cultural research commonly involves comparison of some cultural trait (or relationships between traits) across a sample of societies.

A case study is a research method involving an up-close, in-depth, and detailed examination of a particular case (a single person, group, event or community). Observations and interviews are generally how data is collected.

Peasants, who were either serfs of freeman had the obligation to work on the land of the noble and received small benefits. They lived in small cottages, had to work practically the whole day, and usually were not even allowed to leave the property. Therefore their status in the society was very bad.
