In this final step, consider the results of your decision and evaluate whether or not it has resolved the need you identified in Step 1. If the decision has not met the identified need, you may want to repeat certain steps of the process to make a new decision. For example, you might want to gather more detailed or somewhat different information or explore additional alternatives.

One of the most important safety precautions is the good ol' saying think before you act. You can't react without thinking through your decision. Let me explain with an example -
Mark decides to jump off his roof because he thinks it would make for a good profile picture mid jump. However, because he didn't think through his decision - he didn't consider the fact he lived three stories up in an apartment complex.
