Hello!

A slope intercept form of a line is y = mx + b

m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

since everything is the same but the slopes we know that the answer is either steeper or not as steep

The slope decreases which means the line is not as steep

The answer is C) It would be less steep

Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

Set up a proportion:

26.5/x = 17/58

Cross multiply and you get:

17x = 1537

x = 90.4

So the measure of PQ is 90.4

Answer: There are <u>4</u> teams in the league

Step-by-step explanation:

(1) Add 14 four times: 14+14+14+14 = 56

(2) Multiply 14 four times: 14 x 4 = 56

(3) Combine both of these numbers into the <em>t  </em>factor: 14t = 56

(4) Divide both sides by 14 and simplify: (14t / 14) = 56/14 | t = <u>4</u> (simplified)

The midpoint of the line having the endpoints (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2) is (\frac{x_{1}+_x_{2}}{2}, \frac{y_{1}+_y_{2}}{2})
basically average them

so given that the line has the endpoints of (-3,7) and (9,-2)
x₁=-3
y₁=7
x₂=9
y₂=-2

so the midpoint can be found by doing
(\frac{-3+9}{2}, \frac{7+(-2)}{2})=
(\frac{6}{2}, \frac{7-2}{2})=
(3, \frac{5}{2})

the midpoint is (3,\frac{5}{2})
