The area of a rectangle is 10 cm^2. One side of the rectangle is x cm. Express the perimeter of the rectangle in terms of x and
frosja888 [35]

Area of rectangle = 10cm²

We know that, Area of rectangle = lb

lb = 10

Let l = x cm. Then b = 10/x cm.

Perimeter of rectangle

= 2(l + b) \\  = 2(x +  \frac{10}{x}) \\  =  \frac{2 {x}^{2} + 10 }{x}cm.

But, this rectangle can't have 12 as its perimeter because Sides have to be factors of 10.If l = 5cm and b = 2cm then it will have perimeter 14cm.If l = 10cm and b = 1cm then it will have perimeter 22cm.

Hope this will help you.

Determine the value of angle ECB<br><br><br> Please help me out!
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer: ∠ECB = 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the value of <em>x </em>by adding them up.

x + 3x + 2x = 6x

Since we know that all of the angles create a 180° angle, we can set up a proportion.

6x = 180°

To find the value of x, divide both sides by 6.

6x ÷ 6 = x

180 ÷ 6 = 30

So now the proportion is x = 30.

Now that we now x = 30, we can plug in 30 to the angle measures.

∠DCA = 30°

∠DCE = 90°

∠ECB = 60°

So angle ECB is 60°.

hope this helps!

aliya0001 [1]
On Wednesday, his balance is -$55 this means that Sam had a debt of $55.
A day after, his balance was less than -$55. This means that Sam had a debt of MORE than $55. Notice that after applying absolute value, what was less than a negative number becomes greater when their absolute values are taken.
