Answer:

The correct answer is C) the church and the state

Explanation:

C is correct answer because this Concordat was a result of a struggle between Popes and Holy Roman Emperors during 11th and 12th Century. Namely, this was a large dispute over power, which had large consequences to political tides in Europe. At the end agreement was made according to which Pope is choosing bishops, but they are swearing oath to the ruler.

That is why A and B are not correct, as the conflict was political between Pope and Emperor.

Why do you think the U.S. maintained a position of neutrality in World War II for so long? What was the role of the U.S. in this
Tamiku [17]
The US believed in isolation, if another country attacked the US that is the only way that we would get involved, therefore we tried to stay out of the mass killings and havoc that the Germans and Japanese were creating until we felt that it involved the US. The US did not want to pick a side and have to stay loyal to that side and go to war when that country did because of the alliance. The US finally joined in to help the allied powers to supply them with weapons/military troops. They did not enter the war until December 1941.

svp [43]

The confederate states operated at the larger and smaller government scale size as they do today with the Senate and the House in the legislative branch. Unlike the United States, the Confederate States had delegates they sent to one large government, whereas today each state has the same set up to itself.
