The Belgian Congo is cited as one of the most exploitative and brutal colonial regimes in the modern history. It also stands as an extreme example of cruelty in Africa that was done for economic gain.

Leopard II ruled over Congo and that period has been a horror story as he was very cruel. The small country has always been famous for witnessing epic crimes against humanity.

This empire was popularly known as Congo free state and the emperor stood as it's undisputed master of slaves. Congo was administered as a private property of this dictator that was just for his personal enrichment.
