Nearly all carbohydrates come from plant sources except Milk

The starch, sugar and fibres are nutrients, known as carbohydrates. They provides energy to the nervous system and muscles of human body. The main source of this nutrient is the plant, consisted of vegetables, fruits and grains.
The only carbohydrate that doesn’t come from a plant source is the Milk. Milk is a simple carbohydrate, consisted of galactose carbohydrate. Simple ones are consisted of one –two units of sugar. Milk has two sugar units and is known as disaccharides.
