The correct answer is C, as the statement that best describes Rome's expansion into the Mediterranean region is that following its victories in the Punic Wars, Rome launched a series of wars. Rome's role in Mediterranean trade expanded significantly as a result of those military campaigns.

After defeating Carthage, Rome attacked other countries such as Syria and Macedon, beating both of them, and taking their Mediterranean territories. This was the way that Rome expanded across the Mediterranean sea.

C, as Rome won in the Second Punic War and Rome already established its influence in the Mediterranean before the Roman Empire and the Pax Romana was started by Augustus

Why would it be important to have a true representative sample when talking about public opinion ?
svp [43]

Answer:

In simple words, Representative surveys are valuable because they mean that the questionnaire contains all different categories of individuals and also that the correct blend of individuals is questioned. Your results will be skewed if your study isn't representative. The poll's inconsistency was due to an unbalanced, non-representative sample.

How did the consumer economy of the 1920s affect the lives of women?
rewona [7]

Consumption as a civilizational model has made in the 20s, to achieve its implementation in everyday life, a new type of women: women consumers. Responsible for 80% of purchasing decisions in homes, consumers were the segment most manipulated and desired by the marketing management of the corporations, privileged recipients and protagonists of the publicity speeches. It focuses on women as caretakers of the home and children.

The women who lived in the cities could enjoy the products that were created to "facilitate their daily work", however the women who lived on the farms did not have the same luck, they had to wait longer to enjoy these advances.
