Answer:

First of all, young invincibles are young people, usually between 18 and 34 years old, that expect to remain healthy and therefore are not willing to buy health insurance.

The problem is that effectively young invincibles use less health care than other age groups but they serve as a balance for people with preexisting conditions that use health care a lot.

When the amount of young invincibles that acquire insurance is too small compared to preexisting conditions groups, health care costs will increase due to adverse selection and health care premiums will also increase.

You think this intensive production schedule will deplete the nutrients in the soil, which ensure good wheat. Does this matter i
katovenus [111]
Yes, it matters very much. The crops that will plant on our farmlands ought to be rotated in such a way that the soil fertility will be maximized. If the nutrients in the soil are depleted, the soil will become infertile and the yields that a farmer will get from his planting will be drastically low. Thus, it is important to protect soil nutrients at all time during planting operation.

If the previous year you reached 100% customer awareness in your company, this year what will you need to do to maintain this le
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

C. I would only need to create 33% new awareness to maintain 100% this year.

Explanation:

Each product’s promotion budget determines its level of awareness. A product’s awareness percentage reflects the number of customers who know about the product. An awareness of 50% indicates half of the potential customers know it exists. From one year to the next, a third (33%) of those who knew about a product forget about it.

Last Year’s Awareness - (33% * Last Year’s Awareness) = Starting Awareness

If a product ended last year with an awareness of 50%, this year it will start with an awareness of approximately 33%. This year’s promotion budget would build from a starting awareness of approximately 33%.

Starting Awareness + Additional Awareness = New Awareness

You lose about 1/3rd each year as customers forget the product.

Portfolio AB was created by investing in a combination of Stocks A and B. Stock A has a beta of 1.2 and a standard deviation of
deff fn [24]

Answer:

C. Portfolio AB has more money invested in Stock A than in Stock B.

Explanation:

Beta coefficient is used to measure the systemic risk of an investment, while standard deviation is employed to measure the total risk of an investment.

Under a portfolio investment decision making, beta coefficient is the relevant measure of risk to consider because its only aim is to put the undiversifiable risk into consideration.

Therefore, Portfolio AB has more money invested in Stock A because it has lower beta of 1.2 than in Stock B has a higher beta of 1.4.
