Hi there!

"There are many opportunities for an active citizen who wishes to become active on a local or national level. Locally, any citizen can help out by volunteering at local homeless shelters or care facilities. These can also include soup kitchens and food banks. Also, local literacy organizations are open for those that want to help tutor adults or children that are struggling to read. There are also many places to volunteer that help children and adults with illnesses. In reality, the possibilities are endless.
