After the Supreme Court’s Brown v. Board of Education decision on May 17, 1954 outlawing public school segregation, Confederate

battle flags began appearing more frequently throughout Georgia and the South. This time, display of the emblem was openly acknowledged as support for segregation and opposition to the Brown decision. In Georgia, as in other states, that opposition took more concrete forms as well. In November 1954, Georgia voters approved a private school amendment authorizing the General Assembly to divert money to private schools as a means of avoiding integration. The next year, the assembly threatened to cut off funds to any school system that tried to move forward with desegregation. . . . The Georgia School Board ordered all teachers belonging to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to resign from the organization or have their teaching licenses revoked. And in April 1955, suggestions first appeared supporting the Confederate emblem’s addition to Georgia’s state flag.
What was the response to the Brown decision in Georgia? Check all that apply.

The Confederate emblem became a symbol of segregation.

How did the US Constitution differ from the Articles of Confederation?
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

Ultimately, the largest difference between America's two governing documents is in that the Articles sovereignty resided in the states, and the Constitution was declared the law of the land when it was ratified which significantly increased the power of the federal government.

I’m pretty sure one of the answers is the first option (The Inca were a self sufficient and hardworking group of people), as the text states, “No one who was lazy or tried to live by the work of others was tolerated; everyone had to work”.

The other answer might be the fourth option (The Inca government provided for its people during times of need), as it says in the text, “and if he was ill, he received what he needed from the storehouses)

mixer [17]

Answer:

East Coast

Explanation:

If a company is planning to build oil drilling and processing plants in North America, and its market is mostly Europe, then it will be the wisest to build the plants in along the East Coast of North America, or if possible in the Northeastern part of the US, and southeastern part of Canada. The reason for building the plants there is that they will come out on the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is the water body that connects North America and Europe, and the products will go through it between the two continents. the northeastern part of the US, and the southeastern part of Canada would be the best locations along the East Coast because the distance from there is the shortest to Europe, so the company will save lot of money on transportation, which will make its product slightly cheaper, thus more competitive on the market.
