The answer is; The cell will not make functional proteins from that mRNA strand.

The mRNA will not make a functional protein because the folding of the protein will be altered including its interactions with other proteins or substrates. Luckily, proteins and mRNA have a short half-life in the body and the biomolecules will normally be degraded after some time with functional proteins taking their place.

Functional proteins will replace them because the DNA remains the same without mutations hence other mRNA transcribed afterward will translate to functional proteins.

A description of natural events that has been proven to be true time after time, without exception.
Ainat [17]
The correct option is D.
A natural law refers to a description of natural event that has been proved to be true without exception. Such a law usually generalizes a body of observation but can not explain why the observation occur. An example of a natural law is Newton's law of gravity, he observed that an object thrown up usually come down but can not explain the reason behind this observation.

Which best describes a benefit of using DNA technology in medicine?
Luba_88 [7]
The greatest advantage of using DNA technology to produce medicines has been that B. medicine can be distributed at a reduced cost. The medicine becomes easier to produce due to DNA technology. One may consider insulin as an example of this, which had to be extracted from the blood from animals before it could be produced using DNA technology.

How fertilization occur in flowering plant
Ghella [55]
Answer: For flowering plants, fertilization occurs through a process known as double fertilization. Unlike most plants, double fertilization enables the new seed to grow into a new plant and have a food source to begin growing. Double fertilization occurs within the female part of a plant, the pistol.

explanation: When pollen is formed by the anther, or male part of a plant, it will blow in the wind or attach to an organism that carries it to the top of the pistol, known as the stigma. Once the pollen attaches to the stigma, the pollen germinates and forms a pollen tube that extends into the ovary. Once formed, two sperm cells will be released and fertilize both the egg and the two polar nuclei of the plant to form the zygote and endosperm, respectfully.

Identify the four postulates of natural selection. select all that apply.
Naddika [18.5K]
Here are the four postulates of natural selection, according to Charles Darwin:
1. variability - refers to different mutations that create different species
2. heritability - refers to the genes that are passed from one organism onto its descendants
3. overproduction of offspring - refers to the fact that more "children" is born than dies
4. natural selection - refers to those organisms that survive because they adapt to their surroundings better than those who will die
