360 people can ride the ferris wheel in 3 hours.
3 hours = 180 minutes ( 60 x 3 = 180 )

20 minutes = 40 people
40 minutes = 80 people
60 minutes = 120 people
80 minutes = 160 people
100 minutes = 200 people
120 minutes = 240 people
140 minutes = 280 people
160 minutes = 320 people
180 minutes = 360 people

Hope this helped! :-)

In a game using a spinner with five equal parts numbered 1 to 5, a contestant wins when the spinner lands on an odd number. Is t
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

A. yes

Step-by-step explanation:

The contestant has a 60% chance of winning because they could either spin 1, 3, or 5.

However, unless there's another player who can only spin evens, it's not fair, because the contestant who spins odds has a 60% chance, while this player will only have a 40% chance.

Rewrite the expression with a rational exponent as a radical expression.
Vilka [71]

Answer:

\sqrt{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The "power rule" tells us that to raise a power to a power, just multiply the exponents

so

(a^{m})^{n}=a^{m*n}

we have

(5^{\frac{3}{4}})^{\frac{2}{3}}

Applying the "power rule"

(5^{\frac{3}{4}})^{\frac{2}{3}}=5^{\frac{3}{4}*\frac{2}{3}}=5^{\frac{1}{2}}=\sqrt{5}

A triangle with the coordinates (6,4), (2,-1), and (-3,5) is translated 4 Units left and rotate 180 degrees about the origin. Wh
ankoles [38]

Answer:

(-2,-4),(2,1), and (7,-5)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given triangle has coordinates (6,4), (2,-1), and (-3,5).

When we translate 4 units left, the we obtain:

(6,4)------>(6-4,4)=(2,4)

(2,-1)----->(2-4,-1)=(-2,-1)

(-3,5)----->(-3-4,5)=(-7,5)

When the resulting figure is rotated 180° about the origin, the coordinates of the final figure becomes

(2,4)------>(-2,-4)

(-2,-1)----->(2,1)

(-7,5)------->(7,-5)

NB: The mapping for 180° rotation is:

(x,y)----->(-x,-y)

A set of data with a mean of 53, and a standard deviation of 6.2 is normally distributed. Find the value of a data point that is
Evgesh-ka [11]

The value of a data point that is -2 standard deviations from the mean

so, 40.6 to 65.4.

<h3>What is the empirical rule?</h3>

According to the empirical rule, also known as the 68-95-99.7 rule, the percentage of values that lie within an interval with 68%, 95%, and 99.7% of the values lies within one, two, or three standard deviations of the mean of the distribution.

P(\mu - \sigma < X < \mu + \sigma)  \approx 68\%\\P(\mu - 2\sigma < X < \mu + 2\sigma)  \approx 95\%\\P(\mu - 3\sigma < X < \mu + 3\sigma)  \approx 99.7\%

From the empirical rule, we know that for 95% we are in 2 standard deviations of the mean. so:

= 53- 6.2- 6.2

= 40.6

The value of a data point that is -2 standard deviations from the mean

53 + 6.2 + 6.2

= 65.4
