The angle above is a right angle triangle
And all right angle triangles are equal to 90degrees
So to find the missing area in the right angle triangle above you have to subtract the value you were given from 90
Which is mathematically written as
Angle 1= 90 degree- 22 degree
Angle 1= 68degree
Therefore the missing angle 1 is 68 degree

Suppose the total cost for n tickets is $36 what's is the total cost of one more ticket is purchased
arsen [322]
$36/n because since there are n amount of tickets, you should divide $36 by n. I feel like you won't get me. For instance, let's say n is 6 tickets. So if 6 tickets are for $36, you should divide $36 by 6 tickets to find the unit rate. Hope this helps.

A pair of basketball shoes's normal price is $120. Jordan bought it at a discount of 10%. He had to pay 8% tax on the discounted
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

$17.50

Step-by-step explanation:

If the shoes are discounted at 10%, the price would be 90% of the original price

Discounted price = 0.9 x 120 = 108

Tax increases the price of the good. so, the discounted price would increase by 8%

1.08 x 108 =116.64

If Jordan pays 15% as a down payment, he would pay :

0.15 x 116.64 = 17.496

6) x+y=60

x/y=7/5------(2)

x=(7/5)y

(7/5)y + y =60

(12/5)y=60

y=60(5/12)

y= 25

x=(7/5)y=(7/5)×25 =35

the two numbers are 35 and 25
