First, change the division sign to multiplication, and flip the second fraction

(1/4)/(9/10) = 1/4 x 10/9

1/4 x 10/9 = 10/36

10/36 is your answer, and there is not enough in the numerator to change into an mixed fraction.

hope this helps

How do you find the length inside a cube diagonally???
MrRissso [65]
Solution:

We have: In the attached image, observe rectangle triangle ΔBAD
Use the Pythagorean Theorem:
BD = √(AB² + AD²)
BD = √(2² + 4²)
BD = √(4 + 16)
BD = √20

In the attached image, observe rectangle triangle ΔBDH
Use the Pythagorean Theorem:
BH = √(BD² + DH²)
BH = √(√20² + 5²)
BH = √(20 + 25)
BH = √45
BH = √(9 × 5)
BH = √9 × √ 5
BH = 3√5
BH = 3 × 2.24

BH = 6.72 cm

Dominic pays 7% interest on his $16,000 college loan and 12% interest on his $12,000 car loan. What average interest rate does h
Naya [18.7K]

The average interest rate is 8.57% paid on the total of $28,000

What is the percentage?

The percentage is defined as a ratio expressed as a fraction of 100.

Dominic pays 7% interest on his $16,000 college loan,

And 12% interest on his $12,000 car loan

To determine the average interest rate paid on the total $28,000 he owes

Calculating the total interest amount paid :

⇒ 7% of 16,000 + 12% of 12,000

⇒ (7/100)16,000 + (12/100)12,000

⇒ (0.07)16,000 + (0.12)12,000

⇒ (0.07)16,000 + (0.12)12,000

⇒ 960 + 1440

⇒ 2400

So the average interest rate paid on the total of $28,000 as

⇒ 2400/28,000 = 0.0857 ≈ 8.57%

Hence, the average interest rate is 8.57% paid on the total of $28,000

Suppose that the manufacturer of a gas clothes dryer has found that when the unit price is p dollars, the revenue R in dollars i
cestrela7 [59]
Answer: The maximum revenue is $1,000,000.

The function that is given is a quadratic equation and the graph would be an upside down parabola.

Therefore, the maximum revenue would be at the vertex of the parabola.

To find the vertex, we can use the expression -b/2a to find the x-value.

It would be -4000/2(-4) = 500

Now, input 500 for p and you will get a revenue of 1,000,000.
