In colonial Mexico, the Peninsulares held the highest positions in the colonial administration and Catholic Church.

At the top of colonial Mexico were peninsulares, those inhabits of Mexico that had been born in Spain. Peninsulares stand for the smallest segment of the population. But as the privileged class, the peninsulares held the highest positions in the colonial administration and the Catholic Church. Following the peninsulares, Creoles held the next position in the hierarchy.

The chart shows automobile ownership in the United
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

Smallest increase in car occurred in:

1930 - 1940

Explanation:

(The question is incomplete because the chart is not given. I have attached the full question at the bottom, for a better understanding of the question)

Lets calculate the increase from looking at the chart for different options.

1900 - 1920:

In 1900, the number of owners are 0 millions

in 1920, then number of owners are slightly less than 10, consider it to be 8 million.

Increase in ownership = 8 millions - 0 millions

Increase in ownership = 8 millions (approx)

1920 - 1930:

In 1920, the number of owners are 8 millions

in 1930, then number of owners are slightly more than 20, consider it to be 23 million.

Increase in ownership = 23 millions - 8 millions

Increase in ownership = 15 millions (approx)

1930 - 1940:

In 1930, the number of owners are 23 millions

in 1940, then number of owners are slightly less than 30, consider it to be 27 million.

Increase in ownership = 27 millions - 23 millions

Increase in ownership = 4 millions (approx)

1940 - 1950:

In 1940, the number of owners are 27 millions

in 1950, then number of owners are 40 millions

Increase in ownership = 40 millions - 27 millions

Increase in ownership = 13 millions (approx)

How did the debate of state’s rights lead to civil war
Mazyrski [523]

What Are States' Rights?

The Civil War is believed by most to be caused because of the issue of slavery. Some, however, believe that it was actually about states' rights, or the rights of states to govern themselves outside of the control of the federal government. Whenever states' rights arguments are made, they all eventually come back to slavery. States' rights were simply a convenient political debate to fit the slavery argument into.

The American Civil War was, ultimately, about one thing: slavery. However, other issues found their way into the debate as well. Arguably the most significant of these was the issue of states' rights. The idea of states' rights, at its most basic level, is the idea that the states that make up the United States of America should have individual rights to work as their own independent governments beyond the control of the national government. For example, while most states in the U.S. have a minimum driving age of sixteen years, it is actually up to each individual state to decide. In South Dakota, for instance, the driving age is actually fourteen. This is generally believed to be due to the large farming population that requires the help of young teens on family farms, often requiring that these teens drive trucks or tractors to tend to crops and livestock, but there is no legislative evidence for this belief. In New Jersey, the minimum driving age is seventeen, the highest in the country. There have been efforts in the past decades to impose a national law for the driving similar to the national drinking age in 1985, but these efforts have not been successful as of 2017.
