ololo11 [35]
St. Petersburg, which is Russia's second largest urban area, was founded in 1703 by the czar Peter the Great. In 1914, the German sounding name was changed to Petrograd. Then, after the death of Vladimir Lenin in 1924, the Soviet Union changed the city's name to Leningrad. Leningrad became St. Petersburg again 67 years later when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.

Explain how the Industrial Revolution changed the living conditions for both the middle class and the working class?
sasho [114]

Answer:

hope it helps...

Explanation:

The Industrial Revolution gave the poorer section off the middle class jobs and money to feed their families. The Industrial Revolution basically started up the working class, and gave them a purpose. The working class clearly suffered from the Industrial Revolution. They had to live in poor and crowded houses, with the threat of diseases. Most of them didn't have a lot to eat and many starved to death. Whole families had to work and members were separated.

• Explain how Eisenhower's response to communism differed
from that of Truman.
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer: Done

Explanation: Eisenhower's response to communism was different then Truman because unlike Truman Eisenhower believed that in order to make your point you have to be willing to go to the brink of war. This later became known as brinksmanship. Eisenhower decided to prepare for nuclear war instead of following Truman's approach of foreign policy.
