1 answer:
Galina-37 [17]3 years ago
8 0

Answer:

Alexander the Great continued exploring even though his Greek soldiers quit.

Explanation:

In the given passage, we get an impression of what was it like during Alexander`s conquests. For his ambitions, 10 years was a too short period of time, but for his soldiers, it was like a whole lifetime. They were regular people who were just too exhausted and just wanted to go home for a while. Alexander was strict, so discipline in the army was on a high level, but in this case, he knew that this refusal to go further was not due to laziness or something similar. So he gave up the idea of conquering Asia and turned to his fleet commanded by a captain Naerchus who went further with exploring the coast of India.

Give one piece of evidence from the diagram that indicates that this organism reproduces asexually.
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Most bacteria, including Salmonella and E. coli, reproduce by binary fission. During this type of asexual reproduction, the single DNA molecule replicates and both copies attach, at different points, to the cell membrane. As the cell begins to grow and elongate, the distance between the two DNA molecules increases.

Which of the following could be a made-up story about the scientist Albert Einstein?
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

I would say B) Historical fiction.

Explanation:

Think of it this way:

You are in a library, and you want to read a book about Albert Einstein. You would go into the history section, since Einstein was alive many years ago. And if you wanted a fictional (not real) story, you would go into the fiction section. If you put those two together, history and fiction, you would want to go to the historical fiction section to find your book.

I hope this makes sense. Let me know if I did something wrong.

Have a good day!
