Answer:

B. Eastern.

Explanation:

Kievan Rus is the first East Slavic state that emerged during the 9th century when the Viking Prince Oleg began uniting the East Slavic lands. This state flourished itself with an unstable political system until the 13th century.

Towards the end of the 9th century, the state under Vladimir the Great began introducing Christianity to the tribes, thus heralding the Christian faith in the lands. The federation of states, which is now known as Kievan Rus, gained its zenith during Yaroslav in the early 11th century.

The correct answer for the branch of Slavic tribes that would eventually be the Kievan Rus is the Eastern tribe .

Give two reasons why the work of Maria Nsue Angue is culturally important.
DedPeter [7]
Maria Nsue Angue was the first woman author who published a novel in Equatorial Guinea. Her book, Ekomo, was very controversial because it veered away from the traditional way of writing. It also tackled issues that have not been tackled before. This is due to her being a woman.

Her novel in some ways reflected the current situation in society. However, it also deals with how women goes beyond the societal restrictions. Because of this novel, readers are not only made aware of the real situation but also given the opportunity to reevaluate their lives and do something about it. Not merely submitting to what was imposed on them based on their gender and ethnicity.
