romanna [79]
To answer this exponent we will multiply the base by the power. Lets do it:-

10 = base
2 = power

10² = 10 × 10 = 100
10² = 100

CHECK OUR WORK:-

√100 = 10

We were RIGHT!!!

So, 10² = 100.

Find the slope of the line that is parallel to 2x+y=7
Anika [276]

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + y = 7 is the equation of the given straight line.

Let us arrange the above equation in slope-intercept form as

2x + y = 7

⇒ y = - 2x + 7 ...... (1)

The slope-intercept form of a straight line is given as y = mx + c, where, m is the slope and c is the y-axis intercept of the straight line.

Therefore, - 2 is the slope of the given straight line (1).

Hence, the slope of the line that is parallel to (1), is -2. (Answer)

{Slope of two parallel straight lines are of same value}

495 is 55 percent of what number
Delicious77 [7]
If you would like to know 55 percent of what number is 495, you can calculate this using the following steps:

55% of what number = 495
55% * x = 495
55/100 * x = 495
x = 495 * 100/55
x = 900

The number you are looking for is 900.

Need help with math Urgent help
crimeas [40]

Answer:

Hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

Page 1:

I'm not sure about the first page but here is what I think.

Increased by a value of 3.

Figure 0, is most likely 2 blocks.

Starting value = 2

Growth = 3

y= 3x + 2

Fill in the values to get y.

For example, 3(52) + 2

The rate of change is 3

The y - intercept is 2

The equation of the line is y= 3x + 2

Page 2:

I assuming that the y-intercept is -5 considering it is with 0.

Looking at 10 I see 25. What times 10, subtracted by 5 will get you 25?

3

So I assume that the equation is 3x - 5. Apply this equation to 6 and 0 to see if it is correct.

3(6) - 5 = 13. Now apply this to the other values to get the rest of the chart.

Not sure what the x means in the last input

Red Line

Slope: 3

y-intercept: 4

Equation: y = 3x + 4

Blue Line

Slope: (-1/3)

y-intercept: -4

Equation: y = (-1/3) - 4
